Meteorological Institute has issued a yellow weather warning for strong wind gusts affecting several regions in Southern Norway including Vestlandet, Trøndelag, Innlandet, and parts of Østlandet. There is also a flood risk alert for areas in Inner Østfold and parts of Agder and Rogaland. Elvia has strongly advised residents to steer clear of low-hanging or downed power lines, which could be live and pose a serious risk to life if touched. Ole Inge Rismoen, the operational leader at Elvia, emphasized the importance of safety during these adverse weather conditions.
