A new survey indicates that more Norwegians are preparing for emergencies, with an increase in those considering strategies for power outages.
A recent survey conducted by the Directorate for Civil Protection and Emergency Planning (DSB) reveals a notable increase in the number of Norwegians preparing for crises, such as extended power outages. According to the survey, 62% of respondents have thought about their response to prolonged power failures, marking a 6 percentage point rise from last year and 25 percentage points higher than in 2019. This shift reflects growing awareness and concern regarding emergency preparedness among the Norwegian population.
