OP's payment traffic is struggling

OP Pohjola is experiencing delays in payment transactions due to technical issues affecting customer accounts.

OP Pohjola has reported ongoing issues with its payment traffic, which may cause delays for customers in both incoming and outgoing transactions. The company confirmed to Iltalehti that they are working on repairing the issue while apologizing for the inconvenience it has caused. Customers have expressed frustration over the delay, especially as this isn't the first incident this week.

Downdetector, which monitors online service outages, had noticed a spike in reported issues starting at noon on Thursday. This follows another disruption earlier in the week, where OP's online and mobile services were also down, leading to accessibility problems for users trying to access stock savings accounts and payment templates. Such repeated technical glitches raise concerns about the reliability of OP's digital platforms.

The last significant disruption occurred on January 15, when OP's website and mobile application were inaccessible for a large part of the day. The frequency of these outages could damage customer trust and satisfaction, perhaps prompting OP to review their technical infrastructure and customer service protocols to better handle such situations in the future.
