The increasing support for school bags and birthday support for the elderly in Kambja municipality

Kambja municipality in Estonia is increasing financial support for school bags and elderly birthday celebrations starting in April.

Starting in April, Kambja municipality in Estonia will raise its financial support for school bags from 100 euros to 120 euros, as well as increase the birthday support for the elderly from 30 euros to 50 euros. Additionally, the limit for care expenses will be increased from 700 euros to 800 euros. This financial boost aims to support both families with children entering school and elderly residents in commemorating their birthdays.

The increase in support is part of a broader initiative by local government to provide better assistance and improve the quality of life for its residents, especially in times of rising costs of living. By enhancing this financial assistance, Kambja aims to alleviate some of the financial burdens that families and elderly citizens face, thus promoting community well-being.

These measures are expected to have a positive impact on the local economy as financial support flows into the community, allowing families to spend more on education-related expenses and increasing the capacity for elderly citizens to celebrate their special days. Such local initiatives highlight the importance of investing in social programs that directly benefit community members and strengthen social ties within Kambja municipality.
