Lagos concludes CAF school event in Badagry
The Lagos State Football Association successfully completed the first phase of a CAF-supported school football development program in Badagry, benefitting Badagry Grammar School.
The Lagos State Football Association has wrapped up the first phase of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) School Football development programme, held in Badagry, Lagos. Badagry Grammar School was identified as the final beneficiary of this initiative, aimed at improving grassroots football participation among school children. The programme is supported by CAF and implemented via the Nigeria Football Federation, indicating a collaborative effort to bolster youth engagement in sports within schools.
Lagos FA chairman Gafar Liameed announced the successful completion of the phase, emphasizing the program's benefits for students and local communities. A delegation from the Lagos FA, which included assistant secretary Kayode Okunoye, visited Badagry Grammar School to assess the outcomes and reaffirm the commitment to enhancing sports at the grassroots level.
