On Wednesday afternoon, a dog named Kim escaped from her transport box just before boarding a flight to Rio de Janeiro at Congonhas Airport in São Paulo. Despite the brief halt in operations, the airport management confirmed that no flights were canceled as a result of the incident.

Gabriela Salles, the dog's owner, revealed to G1 that she adopted Kim while on vacation in Caraíva, Bahia, and was trying to reunite with her after some delay. Due to her inability to bring Kim back with her initially, a friend volunteered to transport the dog to São Paulo for the flight home. Everything seemed to be in order, but after the first flight, Kim's adventurous spirit led her to escape just before boarding the connecting flight.
