The Municipal Field School Balduíno Wottrich, situated in Monte Cristo, Boa Vista, has achieved the 2025 ODS Education Seal, a national recognition awarded to educational institutions that align their pedagogical practices with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda. This accolade highlights the school’s commitment to progressive education focused on sustainability and innovation.

The recognition stems from the school’s innovative educational project titled "Sciences in the Field: Connecting Knowledge Through Projects," which has integrated continuous teacher training, institutional partnerships, and the hosting of a School Scientific Initiation Fair. During this fair, students showcased various projects that promote sustainability and environmental preservation, demonstrating the practical application of their learning in real-world contexts.

Leidymar Cunha, the school’s vice-principal, expressed pride in the achievement, indicating that it reflects the collective efforts of staff and students in promoting educational practices that not only enhance learning outcomes but also foster a sense of responsibility toward environmental sustainability. She will represent the school in the certification ceremony in Recife, marking an important milestone for their educational journey.
