The event occurred in early February at a private school located in the Jardim Camburi neighborhood of Vitória.

According to the mother of one of the affected students, the boy shared the manipulated image on social media and showed it to other classmates, with assistance from another peer. The mother confirmed that her daughter had been in the process of getting to know the boy, but when she declined to enter into a relationship, the situation escalated to this troubling act.
