The research highlights that over 60% of consumers in the state plan to buy gifts for Easter, with an average expenditure of R$ 186 per person. Significantly, more than R$ 170 million is expected to be spent specifically on gifts, indicating the importance of this festive occasion for consumer spending. Local markets in city centers are favored by shoppers, while neighborhood shops are seen as secondary options for purchases, showcasing a preference for accessibility and variety in shopping locations.
