The Civil Police of Brazil have made a request for the arrest of 27-year-old Carlos Alexandre Assis Silva, who is suspected of shooting a lawyer in the Fonseca neighborhood of Niterói, located within the Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro. The shooting occurred last week, and the lawyer remains hospitalized in critical condition at the Hospital Estadual Azevedo Lima. According to delegate Gabriel Poiava, Carlos was identified as a suspect through security camera footage that captured the moments before the shooting when two men on a motorcycle were seen announcing a robbery.
