The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has moved to the court seeking life imprisonment for Asia Andrabi, the prominent leader of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, on charges of conspiring to wage war against India. According to the agency, Andrabi and her two associates have been accused of fostering separatism and violence with the support of terrorist organizations based abroad. The legal actions occur against a backdrop of increased tensions in Kashmir, where separatist sentiments have often led to clashes and unrest.

During the court proceedings in Delhi, the NIA emphasized the need for severe penalties for those conspiring against the nation. The case focuses on the trajectory of Andrabi's political actions, alongside her collaborators Sohfi Fahmida and Nahida Nasreen, who were arrested earlier this year under anti-terror laws.
