The Greek Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, along with Deputy Minister of Health, Irini Agapidaki, has appointed a new scientific council for the National Organization for Public Health (EODY). This council is expected to provide expert guidance and support to the public health initiatives in Greece, especially in light of ongoing health challenges.

The newly formed scientific council includes a president, Theodoros Vasilakopoulos, a professor of Pulmonology-Intensive Care, and several other notable members from prominent medical schools, particularly those affiliated with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA).
