Markus Varjun's university golf team, NC State, placed fifth in a recent competition held in the USA.

The golf tournament titled The Johnnie-O at Sea Island concluded in the United States, where the NC State team participated with Estonia’s Markus Varjun. The tournament took place at the Sea Island Resort in Georgia, featuring a par 72 golf course. A total of 15 university teams competed, with several ranked among the top 50 in college golf in the USA.
