On the morning of November 11th, a pickup driver lost control while driving on BR-349, near Praia do Francês, in Marechal Deodoro, a city located in the metropolitan region of Maceió, Brazil. Witnesses reported that the driver had fallen asleep at the wheel, which led to the vehicle veering off course and crashing into a utility pole. Fortunately, there has been no information released regarding the driver's health status following the incident.

The crash not only impacted the driver but also had immediate consequences for local residents. Due to the energized wiring from the damaged pole, individuals living in a house directly in front of the crash site were unable to leave their home until energy to the area could be safely cut off. This exacerbated potential dangers related to electrical hazards and further complicated the incident's resolution, drawing attention from public utility teams.

In response to the situation, a team from Equatorial Alagoas was dispatched to manage the power disconnection, demonstrating the prompt actions required during such unforeseen events. Additionally, a tow truck was called to remove the crashed vehicle from the site, highlighting the logistical challenges that arise following traffic accidents and emphasizing the need for immediate response measures to ensure public safety.
