HIFK has made a notable announcement regarding the future of its hockey team by signing nine young players to new contracts. Among the new signings are forwards Anttoni Uronen, Lauri Sinivuori, Aatu Karjalainen, Viljo Kähkönen, and Frans Karjalahti, along with defensemen Bruno Jalasti, Viljami Savolainen, Eelis Uronen, and Jonne Parkkali. The contracts range in duration, with some extending as far as 2028. This decision aims to bolster the team’s roster with fresh talent, emphasizing the importance of youth development within the club.
