Drunken driver ran over a man's foot in Vilnius
A drunken driver in Vilnius ran over a man’s foot, with the driver later found to have a high blood alcohol level.
In Vilnius, Lithuania, a driver was reported to have run over a man's foot on March 10th around 2:45 PM on Moldovos Street. The incident involved a VW Golf driven by a 29-year-old man, who was found to have a blood alcohol level of 2.20 promille. Fortunately, the victim, a 30-year-old man, refused medical assistance following the incident.
This incident followed an earlier event that same day, where at around 6:50 AM, a Honda Jazz struck and damaged an Opel car before fleeing the scene. The driver of the Honda Jazz, a 25-year-old man, was later apprehended and found to have a blood alcohol level of 2.61 promille. These two incidents have prompted investigations, and both drivers may face significant legal repercussions, including potential jail time.
