Arrested for gang rape in Copacabana, another young woman reports abuse during a party: 'He forced oral sex on me'
A young woman has come forward to report that she was sexually assaulted by Victor Hugo Oliveira Simonin, one of the suspects in a gang rape case in Copacabana, when she was 17 years old.
In a disturbing revelation, a young woman who is now of legal age has disclosed to the police that she was sexually assaulted at the age of 17 by Victor Hugo Oliveira Simonin, a classmate from Colégio Pedro II and one of the individuals arrested for a gang rape incident involving a different victim in Copacabana. The assault reportedly occurred during a party where Victor attempted to coerce her into performing oral sex against her will.
According to her account, the situation escalated rapidly while the two were engaging in mutual affection when Victor pushed for sexual acts she firmly rejected. Despite her refusal, he persisted in his advances, continuing to pressure her until she lost her balance and fell, at which point he forcibly attempted to make her perform oral sex on him. She recalls struggling to get back on her feet in the midst of the assault.
This allegation not only sheds light on the individual’s abusive behavior but also raises serious concerns regarding the broader implications of such incidents in social settings, emphasizing the need for a societal response to combat sexual violence and protect victims. The ongoing investigation into the gang rape case now may lead to further legal scrutiny of Victor, who is facing charges related to the previous incident alongside the current allegations.
