On November 11, the Democratic Party of Korea, under the leadership of floor leader Han Byung-do, submitted a request to the National Assembly for a national investigation into seven cases that they allege involved manipulated indictments by the prosecution under the Yoon Suk-yeol government. The cases include significant corruption allegations tied to President Lee Jae-myung, such as the Daejang-dong development scandal, the Wirye New Town development corruption case, the Ssangbangwool North Korea remittance case, political fund reception allegations against Kim Yong, the former deputy head of the Democratic Research Institute, and other incidents from the Moon Jae-in government, including real estate statistics manipulation and the shooting incident of a public servant in the West Sea.
