Caverton Helicopters hosts Army War College delegation
Caverton Offshore Support Group hosted a delegation from the Army War College Nigeria, emphasizing its commitment to operational excellence and capacity building.
Caverton Offshore Support Group welcomed the Course 10, 2026 participants of the Army War College Nigeria on Tuesday, highlighting the organization's dedication to enhancing operational excellence and capacity building across various sectors in Nigeria's economy. This visit was attended by senior military officers from South Africa and Cameroon, who toured Caverton’s aviation facilities located close to the international wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
During the visit, Rotimi Makanjuola, Caverton’s Chief Operating Officer, discussed the company’s contributions to critical sectors such as aviation, oil and gas, agriculture, sports, and logistics through innovation and strategic collaborations. He underscored the significance of local training facilities for aviation, arguing that it is more effective and economically beneficial compared to sending Nigerian pilots abroad for training. He emphasized the associated costs, risks of foreign exchange loss, and the time inefficiencies involved in overseas training.
The engagement served as a platform for Caverton to demonstrate its capabilities and operations, reinforcing the importance of building local capacity in aviation and other sectors. The collaboration with the Army War College reflects a mutual interest in fostering an educated and skilled workforce that is essential for the sustainable development of Nigeria's economy, particularly in related sectors that rely heavily on aviation services.
