An automaker launches the new version of its pickup with confirmed price and equipment
Ford unveiled new work variants of its Ranger pickup at Expoagro in Argentina, announcing confirmed pricing and equipment details.
At the twentieth edition of Expoagro, an agro-industrial exhibition in San NicolΓ‘s, Ford introduced updated models of its Ranger pickup, which represent the culmination of a significant investment of $870 million in its General Pacheco plant. This launch is not only about new models but also highlights Ford's commitment to the Argentine market as it expands its offerings to meet local demand.
Starting in April, the local market will see the arrival of the Ranger Cabina Simple and Ranger Cabina Chasis, along with the addition of an automatic transmission option for the XL Doble Cabina variant. The configurations emphasize practicality and efficiency, with the entire XL range featuring a Panther 2.0 turbo diesel engine that delivers 170 horsepower at 3500 rpm and a torque of 405 Nm, aimed at both professional and personal use.
This move indicates Ford's strategic focus on enhancing its product lineup in Argentina, particularly in the competitive pickup segment which is a popular choice among consumers. The inclusion of hybrid motorization in upcoming models further suggests Ford's intent to adapt to evolving market trends while promoting sustainability in automotive manufacturing.
