A security guard employed by the State University of Paraná (Unespar) in Apucarana has been indicted for theft after being filmed witnessing a violent robbery without taking action. The incidence, which happened on February 4, involved a victim being assaulted in the university's motorcycle parking area, where the thief applied a chokehold and stole the victim's backpack containing a cellphone. Although the robbery occurred earlier in the month, the assailant was not apprehended until February 6, which led to the release of the footage capturing the incident.
