Harsh charges revealed: The killers turned the house surveillance camera and attacked in the middle of the night - a 39-year-old man was killed in his home

Three young Finnish men are charged with murdering a 39-year-old man in his home in Kokemäki, Finland, after disabling the surveillance cameras.

On Tuesday, severe criminal charges were read in the Satakunta District Court against three Finnish men aged 27, 21, and 20, who are accused of killing a 39-year-old man in his home located in Kokemäki. The authorities revealed that the murder took place in February 2024, and during the break-in, the attackers turned the house's surveillance camera to avoid being recorded. This meticulous planning underscores the premeditated nature of the crime.

According to the prosecutor, the assailants entered the victim's home with the intent to rob, taking items including at least a computer. The 27-year-old suspect was reportedly wearing a ski mask during the attack. The incident escalated quickly; the trio knocked on the victim's door and, upon opening, the 21-year-old suspect violently confronted the victim. A loaded .16 caliber shotgun was allegedly in the possession of the attackers at the time of the crime, indicating a serious threat to the victim's safety.

Only the 27-year-old suspect has been in custody while the other two have been awaiting trial on bail. Notably, the youngest suspect did not appear in court, prompting police efforts to locate him, which resulted in his attendance later that day. This case illustrates the severe nature of violent crime in residential areas of Finland and raises concerns about the effectiveness of community safety measures in preventing such incidents.
