The West Uusimaa police have concluded their investigation into the murder of a 19-year-old man, allegedly perpetrated by a 21-year-old acquaintance. The police were called to the residence of the suspect and his former partner on November 21 of last year, where they found the victim suffering from extensive injuries. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his wounds before the police arrived, highlighting the severity of the incident.

According to the investigation, the suspect had arrived at the apartment early in the morning and encountered the victim, who was known to him through the suspect's ex-girlfriend. Allegations indicate that the suspect inflicted dozens of stab wounds on the victim using a knife found at the scene. The ex-girlfriend, who was present during the incident, made the emergency call, which ultimately led to the police intervention and subsequent investigation.

Upon apprehending the 21-year-old suspect, the police quickly established that the former partner was not involved in the crime, focusing their efforts on the suspect, whose motives may be linked to jealousy.
