In a tragic incident that occurred on Erfurto Street in Vilnius, the driver of a route 68 bus suddenly fell ill while driving, causing the bus to veer off the road but fortunately only collide with a nearby sandbox, avoiding harm to any waiting passengers. Emergency services were called around 4:30 PM, and upon arrival, the driver was quickly transported to a hospital after losing consciousness. Despite the lack of passengers on board at the time, the potential for a more serious accident was evident given the close call with a bus stop.
