Ufra announces the final list for Prosel 2026 this Friday, 13

The Federal Rural University of Amazon (Ufra) will announce the final list of candidates for the 2026 Prosel on Friday, with a live event planned at the Belém campus.

The Federal Rural University of Amazon (Ufra) is set to release the final list of candidates for the 2026 Próprio Selection Process (Prosel) on Friday, marking a significant event in the academic calendar. The announcement will be accompanied by a lively event at the main campus in Belém, featuring cultural presentations, welcoming speeches, and a celebratory parade with a DJ, scheduled to start at 10 AM. The online version of the results will be available at noon on the Teaching Pro-Rectorate's website.

This year's Prosel has seen a remarkable number of applications, achieving a record high of 12,273 candidates vying for 1,145 spots across 43 undergraduate programs offered at Ufra's six campuses. The unexpected surge in interest has led to a delay in the result announcement, as explained by César Tenório, the pro-rector of education. He noted that the increase necessitated a reorganization of the technical team, who needed extra time for internal arrangements to ensure a smooth release of the results.

Before the official list is published, Ufra's rector Janae Gonçalves and pro-rector César Tenório will host a welcoming event for the new incoming students. This highlights the university's commitment to creating a supportive environment for new students as they embark on their academic journeys, reflecting an institution that values community engagement and celebration of educational milestones.
