Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has reached Lucknow after travelling through various districts such as Varanasi, Jaunpur, and Sultanpur. He has invited his followers to a significant event scheduled for tomorrow at 2:15 PM during the 'Vijay Muhurt' at the Kanshiram Memorial site in Lucknow. The event, termed 'Dharma Yudh', will include rituals such as worship of cow-based Ganesha and the establishment of a flag representing cow protection, followed by a conch shell blowing ritual.
The swami has also urged those unable to attend in person to participate from their homes or localities by performing the conch shell ritual and pledging for cow protection. The Lucknow administration has allowed the 'Gau Pratishtharth Dharma Yudh' event under strict conditions, enforcing 26 guidelines including prohibitions against inflammatory speeches and processions, highlighting an effort to maintain peace during the event.
Notably, Swami Avimukteshwaranand's journey to Lucknow encompasses several districts such as Varanasi, Jaunpur, and Sultanpur, where he has gained followers. The administration's regulations reflect an underlying concern for harmony, prioritizing the prevention of any communal tensions that could arise during religious gatherings. This event, advocating cow rights, signifies broader implications regarding the intersection of religion and politics in contemporary India.
