VIDEO: security camera records entry and exit of 3 police officers from apartment where officer was shot in the head
Security camera footage captured three female police officers entering and exiting the apartment where Military Police officer Gisele Alves Santana was found shot in the head.
Security footage has emerged showing the entry and exit of three female police officers from the apartment in São Paulo where Military Police officer Gisele Alves Santana was tragically found shot in the head. Witnesses reported that these officers arrived approximately ten hours after the incident to clean the crime scene. The footage details that the officers, accompanied by a condominium employee, entered the building at around 5:48 PM on February 18, the same day of the officer's death.
The apartment in question belonged to Gisele, who lived there with her husband, Lieutenant Colonel Geraldo Leite Rosa Neto. The three officers seen in the video included a soldier and two corporals, who reportedly spent around fifty minutes inside the apartment. According to the witness' statement to the Civil Police, there were no items seen being taken in or out of the apartment, leading to concerns regarding the nature of their visit and potential tampering with evidence.
This incident raises critical questions about the actions of the police officers who entered the apartment shortly after the fatal shooting, including ethical considerations and the investigation into Gisele's death. The officers are expected to provide further testimony to the authorities as part of the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding her tragic death and the actions taken afterward by those involved.
