Path to Training offers free courses in 12 cities in the interior of SP

The 'Path to Training' project will provide free vocational courses in 12 cities in the São Carlos and Araraquara regions of São Paulo throughout March.

The 'Path to Training' initiative, launched by the Government of the State of São Paulo, offers free vocational courses across 12 cities in the São Carlos and Araraquara regions in March. A unique aspect of this project is the use of modified trailers as classrooms, allowing for greater accessibility to training opportunities for residents of these towns. Classes will feature both theoretical and practical components, aimed at equipping participants with valuable skills relevant to various industries.

Participants can choose from a range of courses in sectors such as fashion, beauty and wellness, technology and innovation, gastronomy, and industry, with offerings varying by location. The courses will be conducted by qualified instructors from the Centro Paula Souza (CPS), an entity known for managing technical schools and technology colleges throughout the state. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an official certificate, enhancing their qualifications in the job market.

This initiative not only aims to empower individuals with job-ready skills but also seeks to stimulate local economies by fostering a more skilled workforce. By providing access to vocational education in unconventional settings like mobile classrooms, the program addresses the educational and economic disparities often faced by rural communities in São Paulo state, ultimately contributing to broader educational and socio-economic development goals.
