The tragic story unfolds as the bodies of two Alagoas residents, Erivânio Gonçalves da Silva, aged 60, and Maria Zinete de Jesus, aged 77, who perished in a bus accident in Minas Gerais, arrive in their home state for burial. Upon arrival in Alagoas at 6 AM, the bodies were immediately transported to their respective wake locations. Erivânio’s remains were brought to his mother’s home in Inhapi, where he is being mourned until 10 AM, before proceeding to the cemetery for burial. Conversely, Maria Zinete’s body is taken to her residence in Delmiro Gouveia, where family and friends gather until her burial scheduled in the afternoon.
