Alagoans killed in an accident in MG were relatives and changed their travel date to return together

Two relatives from Alagoas died in a bus accident in Minas Gerais after changing their travel plans to return together.

Two relatives from Alagoas, Brazil, lost their lives in a tragic bus accident on BR-251 in Northern Minas Gerais. The victims, Erivânio Gonçalves da Silva, 60, and his aunt Maria Zinete de Jesus, 77, were confirmed by family members to have altered their travel dates to return to Alagoas together. Raelison Costa, a cousin of the victims, explained that Maria Zinete had recently traveled to São Paulo for eye treatment, and this journey was meant to be a joyful reunion for the family.
