A 24-year-old young man was shot in the back while riding his bicycle in the Eldorado neighborhood of Montes Claros, Brazil, on Monday, October 9th. The incident occurred when the victim was passing by Avenida Amintas Jaques de Moraes, where he was suddenly attacked by two men who emerged from a vacant lot, firing at him with guns. Upon receiving an anonymous tip, the military police arrived to find the victim conscious and bleeding from a gunshot wound to his back after managing to escape on foot a short distance before collapsing.
