Concerns over the global supply of petroleum products have escalated due to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, specifically between Iran and the US-Israel. Amid this backdrop, a significant and alarming incident has occurred in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, where a truck loaded with 524 LPG cylinders has been reported stolen. The truck, identified with registration number UP 93 BT 3341, belonged to Neeraj Agarwal and was associated with the Bharat Petroleum Corporation's plant in Jhansi. The cylinders, valued at around 1.8 million INR (approximately $22,000), were set to be delivered to Gazner in Kanpur Dehat. The theft has prompted the authorities to open an investigation following a complaint from the truck owner, who stated that the driver had parked the vehicle outside the plant and went home for the festivities of Holi, leaving it unattended.
