A New Space in Naujamiestis Attracts Like a Magnet: Inside – A Completely Different City Mood
A newly designed studio in Naujamiestis showcases a blend of authenticity and modern functionality, serving as both a workspace and community gathering spot.
In Naujamiestis, a newly designed studio exemplifies a harmonious blend of authentic architectural features and contemporary functionality. The studio retains elements such as high ceilings, large windows, and delicately updated concrete floors which create a bright and inspiring atmosphere. It has been meticulously planned to include two main areas dedicated to clay modeling and glazing, promising a well-structured environment for creative endeavors.
At the heart of the studio lie two large wooden tables that serve as focal points for collaboration and creativity, facilitating both individual work and small group interactions. The interior design emphasizes warm terracotta accents that echo the natural qualities of clay, complemented by subtle metal details. This careful selection of colors and materials provides the studio with a cozy atmosphere while maintaining its urban character, transforming it into a place not just for work, but also for community meetings and inspiration.
Designed by Atelier Nook, the studio's interior has entered an architectural contest called "My Space 2025," organized by Lrytas in collaboration with the Lithuanian Union of Architects. This initiative showcases contemporary design trends while highlighting the importance of community-focused spaces in urban environments, potentially influencing future architectural practices and engagements in the city of Vilnius and beyond.
