Board from the USA was filled with drugs - delivered to a construction company in Jönköping

A shipment from the USA containing drugs worth over four million kronor was intercepted before being delivered to a construction company in Jönköping, leading to the arrest of two women and a 32-year-old man.

In early October of the previous year, authorities intercepted a drug shipment valued at over four million kronor at Arlanda terminal, which was sent from the USA to a construction company in the Jönköping area. Upon investigation, a woman in her thirties attempted to collect the package but left it behind due to suspicions raised by customs officials. She was later apprehended along with a younger woman, from whom evidence was found on her mobile phone.

The day following the interception, a logistics company contacted the designated construction firm to arrange delivery of the palettes containing wooden boards. The owner, age 32, accepted the shipment at his residential address. This prompted a police raid in the evening, resulting in the man's arrest alongside the confiscation of mobile phones, computers, and drones.

Ongoing investigations reveal connections between the 32-year-old and a 47-year-old man in Jönköping, suggesting that this operation may be part of a larger network involved in drug trafficking. Authorities are actively exploring these connections as the situation unfolds.
