The German metal band 'Primal Fear' will be warmed up by 'Phrenetix' at the concert in Vilnius

The Lithuanian thrash metal band 'Phrenetix' will open for the German metal band 'Primal Fear' during their concert in Vilnius.

'Phrenetix', a Lithuanian thrash metal band formed in 2012, is set to open for the renowned German band 'Primal Fear' at their concert in Vilnius. 'Phrenetix' creatively challenges the boundaries of the thrash metal genre, providing a fast-paced, technical, and unrestricted sound while maintaining a melodic touch. The band aims to blend the spirit of a party atmosphere with a fresh and honest perspective on classic metal, offering an exciting addition to the concert lineup.

The band is led by vocalist, guitarist, and main songwriter Lina Vaštakaitė, who has had a passion for singing since childhood. Her musical journey took a significant turn with her first encounter with Metallica's music, which inspired her decision to pursue a professional music career. She honed her skills at the Lithuanian Academy of Music, where she developed her artistic talent alongside her bandmates: guitarist Paulius Navickas, bassist Daumantas Vizbaras, and drummer Gediminas Tumėnas.

Phrenetix's debut album 'Fear', released in 2015, was a tribute to classic old-school thrash metal and received favorable reviews. However, seeking to evolve their sound, the band members were not entirely satisfied with the contemporary thrash metal scene and began experimenting with their music, signaling a potential shift in their stylistic direction as they continue to push the limits of the genre and engage with new influences.
