On April 8, a concert will be held at the SPELET concert hall in Riga, Latvia, featuring four well-known Scandinavian heavy metal bands: Sweden's 'Hypocrisy' and 'Vomitory', along with Norway's 'Abbath' and 'Vreid'. The event has been organized to bring together fans of the heavy metal scene from the region. This marks a much-anticipated return of these artists to the Latvian stage, especially with 'Hypocrisy', which has not performed in Latvia for over a decade.

'Hypocrisy', led by its well-known frontman Peter Tägtgren, is celebrated for its melodic death metal sound. The band, established in 1991, has released 13 studio albums, making it a significant name in the European metal music industry. Tägtgren is also known for his work with the industrial metal group 'Pain' and his collaboration on the musical project 'Lindemann' with Till Lindemann, the vocalist of Germany's 'Rammstein'. This showcases the band's influential role in the development of metal music.

Additionally, 'Abbath' is also making a notable return, having last performed in Latvia in 2018. As both of these bands are well-regarded in the heavy metal community, this concert is expected to draw significant interest from fans, highlighting Riga's role as a venue for important music events in the region.
