A man was detained in Alytus after allegedly firing shots during a public conflict, with illegal firearms and drugs discovered at his residence.
On March 9, during a conflict on JazminΕ³ street in Alytus, a man threatened another individual with an object resembling a firearm and allegedly fired two shots into the air before fleeing the scene. Police apprehended the suspect shortly after, identifying him as a 1998-born male.
A search of the suspect's residence revealed an illegal shotgun along with seven 16-caliber cartridges and substances suspected to be narcotics, including white crystals and organic materials. Following his arrest, the suspect was taken to a holding facility at the Alytus County Police Headquarters as investigations commenced.
