A tragic incident occurred in Santana, Amapá, where 19-year-old Ana Paula Viana Rodrigues was found dead after being strangled in the store where she worked. The crime reportedly took place on the afternoon of Monday, October 9, while the victim was alone in the shop. Her death has raised concerns regarding the motives behind the attack, as authorities are investigating whether it was a robbery gone wrong or an act of feminicide.

Witness accounts and security camera footage provided crucial information to the police. The young woman's employer noticed unusual activity on the store's surveillance cameras and was alarmed enough to call the police for assistance. As she was on her way to the store, she encountered a police patrol and urged them to come along, leading to the grim discovery of Rodrigues' body.
