In an effort to end the Monday sit-at-home campaign that has affected educational productivity in Anambra State, Governor Chukwuma Soludo toured ten primary and secondary schools in Isuofia. During this visit, he instructed school administrators to ensure full attendance of both students and teachers who returned to school. He reassured them of the necessary security measures that have been implemented to maintain a safe learning environment.

Governor Soludo praised the commitment of teachers and students who attended classes, emphasizing the importance of aligning with global productivity standards, which advocate for a full five-day work week. He insisted that a consistent school presence is crucial for the academic growth of the students and for the overall recovery of the state from the disruptions caused by the sit-at-home order.

The governor expressed that his tour was not just symbolic but also practical, aimed at instilling confidence in the safety of schools and promoting a return to regular activities on Mondays. He highlighted that Mondays should now be categorized as a normal school day, noting their significance in establishing a productive week, and he encouraged students to embrace this change for their educational advancement.
