The Federal Institute of Amapá, known as Ifap, has announced the opening of registrations for a free violin course in Macapá. This initiative aims to encourage musical practice among students and local community members, offering a total of 15 initial spots. Interested participants must be at least 12 years old and have their own violin instrument to participate in the course. Registrations are being processed through an electronic form on Instagram and will also be available in person on designated dates.
The music lessons will be conducted by the institution's music band and are scheduled to take place every Wednesday at the Ifap gymnasium in the northern area of Macapá. The sessions will be held from 6 PM to 7:30 PM, creating a structured opportunity for participants to learn and improve their violin skills. This course is part of the Extension Department's activities at the Macapá campus, which aims to broaden cultural and educational access in the region.
Under the guidance of violinist Albertina Borges, the music group hopes to inspire new musicians and foster an appreciation for music in the community. Such programs not only enrich the lives of participants but also help to cultivate a vibrant cultural environment in Macapá, showcasing Ifap's commitment to education and community involvement in the arts.
