The Federal Institute of Amapá (Ifap) has announced 50 openings for a technical course in Commerce, specifically targeting farmers from rural settlements who are over 18 years old.
The Federal Institute of Amapá (Ifap) has launched a public notice for the opening of 50 positions in a technical Commerce course, designed for adult education (EJA). This opportunity is exclusively available to farmers from rural settlements who are over the age of 18 and have completed elementary education but have not yet finished high school. Students selected for the program will receive a monthly scholarship of R$ 600 to assist with their educational expenses.
The registration period for applicants is free and will take place between February 28 and March 4, with classes expected to commence on March 30, 2026. The course will last for one and a half years and will be delivered through a mixed learning format, comprising 50% in-person and 50% semi-in-person instruction. The classroom activities will be held at the Santana Campus and other locations determined collectively, alongside semi-in-person activities in the students' communities of origin or strategic locations such as schools.
This initiative by Ifap represents an important step in facilitating educational access for rural residents, particularly emphasizing the empowerment of farmers through technical education. It aims not only to enhance the knowledge and skills of participants but also to contribute to the economic development of rural areas in Amapá, providing the workforce with essential skills to improve their commerce operations and livelihoods.
