On Monday afternoon, Aldo Santos Firmo, a 28-year-old mechanic, was shot dead at his own automotive workshop located in the neighborhood of Rua Heraldo Lopes, in Valente, approximately 138 km from Feira de Santana. The incident drew the attention of the local police, with the 16th Battalion receiving a call around noon to investigate a reported homicide. Upon arrival, officers found the victim already deceased.

The victim's mother disclosed to the police that her son had a history of drug use and owed money to loan sharks, which could provide a possible motive for the crime.
