Warsaw Residents Will Pay the City Using mCitizen

Warsaw is expanding its digital payment options for residents through the mCitizen app, part of a broader initiative to enhance local government services.

The city of Warsaw has joined the ePayments platform, which aims to streamline municipal payments for its residents. This initiative, announced by Deputy Minister of Digitization Dariusz Standerski, marks a significant step in the city's digital transformation efforts, which have been gradually evolving over the past three years. Currently, 194 offices are utilizing this platform, providing services to approximately 10 million citizens, and contributing to an impressive total of over 762,000 payments amounting to more than 70.5 million zł.
