WISTA Hellas has recently held its 31st regular general assembly meeting where new elections were conducted for the Board of Directors and Audit Committee for the term 2026-2028. The assembly took place on Wednesday, March 4, and included the election of members who will serve in various capacities within the organization. Notably, Vivi Koliopoulou, who is the Insurance Manager at Angelicoussis Group, has been re-elected to lead the organization as president.

The election results revealed a diverse and experienced new board consisting of key figures in the maritime industry. The roles include Akreva Brikou as Vice President, who is the CFO of Efshipping Company S.A.; Samantha Lourantou as Secretary General, responsible for purchasing at Atlantic Bulk Carriers Management Ltd.; and Anna Giatra as Treasurer, who is a Sale and Purchase Broker at Renaissance Shipbroking S.A. Additionally, Lydia Argiroupoulou has been elected as a member and works as a Port Captain and Dry Cargo Operator at Neda Maritime Agency Co., Ltd. The outcomes reflect ongoing efforts to ensure leadership continuity and engagement in the maritime sector.

This re-election and the assembly signal WISTA Hellas’s commitment to advancing women’s roles in maritime and shipping industries, promoting professional networking, and supporting initiatives for education and career development.
