Man dies after collision between two motorcycles on BA-120, in Bahia
A 41-year-old man died and another was injured following a motorcycle collision on the BA-120 highway in Bahia.
A tragic motorcycle collision occurred on Monday morning on the BA-120 highway in Bahia, resulting in the death of a 41-year-old man identified as Emilson Carneiro de Santana. The accident took place around 3:30 AM, linking the municipalities of Riachão do Jacuípe and Serra Preta. Emergency responders from Brigada Voluntária Anjos Jacuipenses arrived at the scene to provide first aid, but despite their efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a hospital.
The second victim, also 41 years old and a local from Riachão do Jacuípe, was reported to have suffered suspected internal bleeding and experienced cardiac arrest during medical treatment. After the initial care provided by the brigade, the Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) continued emergency interventions and transported both individuals for further medical evaluation at the hospital.
