Latvian police are investigating a burglary incident involving the family home of luge coach Mārtiņš Rubenis in Riga, with stolen items not yet fully accounted for.
The State Police of Latvia is currently working to confirm the extent and value of items stolen from the family residence of Mārtiņš Rubenis, the coach of the Latvian luge team. A report of the burglary was filed on March 7 after Rubenis visited the house located on Pūres Street in Riga, where he has spent much of his life. Authorities have initiated a criminal process under Article 175, part three of the Criminal Code, which pertains to burglary offenses that involve entering a dwelling or other premises. Investigative actions are ongoing.
