Sergeant Or Damari, aged 20, is the second Israeli soldier to be killed by anti-tank fire in southern Lebanon, along with another soldier, in a recent incident involving a recovery operation.
Sergeant Or Damari, a 20-year-old from the moshav of Limon, has been identified as the second Israeli soldier killed by anti-tank fire in southern Lebanon on Sunday. Alongside him, Staff Sergeant Maahir Hattar, 38, from Majdal Shams, also lost his life during a mission to extract a stuck tank bulldozer in the area opposite Kibbutz Manara. The bulldozer was reportedly struck by the missile while attempting the recovery operation, resulting in both fatalities, while another officer sustained slight injuries. In response to the attack, the Israel Defense Forces targeted multiple sites across the region.
