During the same operation, another young individual was found purchasing drugs from the arrested suspect. This young man claimed to be a drug user and was initially taken to the local police station as a witness before being released. The suspect, who was aware of the ongoing investigation against him, was placed under arrest and escorted to the 16th Urban Police Section of Santarém along with the seized items, including the drugs and cash.
