The Etawah Safari Park in India is celebrating the birth of four lion cubs by a lioness named Neerja, which has raised excitement among the safari staff and visitors. Director of the safari park, Dr. Anil Patel, revealed that the mating between Asiatic lions Kanha and lioness Neerja occurred from November 18 to November 21, 2025. Following breeding, Neerja was moved to a breeding center for optimized care, leading to the confirmation of her pregnancy by IVRI in Bareilly. The births of the cubs occurred on the night of March 8, with the precise timing noted by the caretakers, marking a successful breeding outcome.
