A tragic accident occurred in Boituva, São Paulo, where a truck driver lost his life after crashing into the rear of a trailer on the Castello Branco highway (SP-280). The collision took place at kilometer 121 during the early hours of Monday, November 9. Local authorities reported that the trailer was traveling towards São Paulo when it was struck from behind by the truck, leading to the driver's fatal injuries.

According to the São Paulo Transport Agency (Artesp), the truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene, having been trapped in the wreckage of his vehicle. Emergency services, including the Fire Department, were called to the site to assist in the rescue operations. The situation was complicated as the driver was pinned inside the vehicle, requiring careful extraction from the wreckage.

In the aftermath of the tragedy, the body of the deceased was sent to the Medical Legal Institute (IML) in Itapetininga for examination.
